It's good to be home

It was good to get away from school, homework and family for a few days. But at least now I can sleep in my own [very uncomfortable] bed. And, for some reason my brother decided he didn't want his television/entertainment center and asked me if I'd like to take it for a while. I think he's trying to make room for a drum set. But anyway, so I can give my mother back her little old television, and take my brothers. Which I think is a twenty-seven inch. Hoo-wah.

But not only does he want to give me this, he's also buying me this little orange, retro-ish guitar amp I've wanted for a long time. Sure, it's a Christmas present however I think it's a very lovely one. He's letting me keep one of his guitars for a while. Double hoo-wah.

I feel I've returned to civilization. The closer I got home, the more civilized things began to look, especially when we finally made it into the city. The city is my home. Well, a few miles past the city where everything is suburbs this, suburbs that. Metro-city suburbs. Dirty Metro-city suburbs.

We picked names for Christmas. I got my cousin Alex, the one I just saw this weekend. I have myself an easy job this year... I'll just get him a cd or something. Whichever one he doesn't have/wants.

I saw me el Stevo this weekend, which was really great. I take for granted how much time I get to spend with that boy, so it's nice when I see him. I think I made him very happy.

Well, it's really snowing outside. And I should be picking Melissa and her little brother up from school soon. I'll write again later.

I have candy for everyone, by the way. And some cigarettes. Candy and cigarettes. Oi.
